ToMoreNow is a small operation and the app is in private beta. Mail us and a person reads it.

Bugs, questions, or anything the app did that it should not have. If you are writing about a problem, tell us which iPhone you have and what happened just before — there are no crash reports coming to us, so your description is genuinely all we get. A screenshot sent through TestFlight works too.

The coach is not answering, or is stuck setting up
On iPhone 15 Pro and newer the coach uses Apple's on-device model and there is nothing to download. On earlier phones the app offers an open-source model of about 555 MB on first run; if you tapped Not now, your goal was set up with a short form and the coach is waiting for the model. Start the download from Settings → Coach model. It needs free space (the app tells you how much if there is not enough), it is best started on Wi-Fi, and it resumes where it stopped if it is interrupted. When it finishes, restart the app once so the coach starts using it.
Which phones the beta runs on
iPhone 13 Pro Max or newer. Android comes at public launch, not during the beta.
The daily check-in never arrived
Notifications are scheduled on the device rather than pushed from a server, so they work in airplane mode — but they do need permission. Check that notifications are allowed for ToMoreNow in the iPhone's own Settings. Then open the goal in the app's Settings tab: each goal has its own reminder time under Set reminders, and a check-in will not fire on a day you marked under Quiet days. The coach sends at most one message a day per goal, so a second one is never coming the same day.
The coach messaged me after I had not opened the app for days
That is on purpose, and it is the one time the coach reaches out on its own. After about three quiet days it sends one note with a smaller version of your usual action attached. If you stay quiet it sends one more about a week later, then stops. Nothing is broken and nothing carries over; open the app whenever you like and pick up from there.
Can I have more than one goal?
Yes. + Add a goal is on the Coach, Progress and Settings tabs. If you already have a goal still inside its early weeks, the app pauses once to say that one habit that sticks beats several half-built, and lets you add the goal anyway. Each goal gets its own coach thread, its own daily note and its own reminder time.
The microphone button is missing
Speech is turned into text on the phone and never sent anywhere, so the mic only appears on phones that can do that. On an iPhone it needs the phone's language set to English with on-device dictation available. If you refused microphone access when first asked, Settings → Voice has an Open phone Settings button to change that. You can always type instead. The same Voice section has Read coach replies aloud and the speaking speed.
Scheduling sessions on my calendar
When the coach offers to schedule sessions for a goal, the app asks for calendar access at that moment. It reads only when your existing events start and end, never their titles, and it writes an event only for a slot you confirm. If you refused access and want it back, allow calendars for ToMoreNow in the iPhone's own Settings; the rest of the app works either way.
How do I get my data out?
Settings → Your data → Create encrypted export. You choose a passphrase, and the file stays on the phone until you tap Share export file, which hands it to the share sheet so you can put it wherever you like. The same screen imports one back; importing replaces everything on that phone with the file's contents.
I forgot my export passphrase
Then the file cannot be opened, by you or by us. The passphrase is not stored anywhere and there is no recovery, because there is no account and no copy anywhere but the file you made. This is the cost of the export being genuinely yours. Keep the passphrase somewhere you keep passwords.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything the app knows is in a database on your phone, so removing the app removes it. To remove one goal instead, open it in Settings and use Finish or drop; dropping a goal erases it and its whole conversation, so export first if you want a copy. Settings → What the coach has picked up deletes individual phrases the coach has learned from you. There is no account to close and nothing of yours on our side to delete. To be removed from the beta waitlist, email us from the address you signed up with and we delete your entry (details in the beta program privacy policy).
How do I turn off usage statistics?
Settings → Anonymous usage statistics. When it is on, the app can send us counts and dates about how the app is used — never your goal, your notes, your messages, or anything that identifies you or your phone. It is on to start with except in the EU, the UK and nearby countries, where it is off unless you turn it on. In the current beta version no destination is connected, so nothing is sent either way. The app works exactly the same with it off. The privacy policy lists exactly what a summary contains.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the coach is set up, the whole app works with no connection — the model runs on the phone, the reminders are scheduled locally, and speech in and out stays on the device.
Dark mode, and the phone tapping back
Settings → Appearance chooses System, Light or Dark. Settings → Haptics lists the six places the app taps the phone and lets you turn each off. If you have Reduce Motion on in the iPhone's own Settings, the app's animations are simply skipped.
Something in the app looks wrong on my screen
Tell us, with the phone model. The beta is the first time this app has run on a wide range of hardware, and layout reports are useful rather than annoying.
If you are in crisis
ToMoreNow is not therapy, not treatment, and not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health care. It is a goal coach, and it is not staffed — mail sent here is not monitored for emergencies.
If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US) or text HOME to 741741. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. The app shows these numbers too, from fixed text that no model can rewrite.
Privacy
The short version: there is no account, no sign-in, and nothing you type in the app is sent to us. Two things can leave the phone: the request that downloads the coach model, and, if you leave it on, an anonymous usage summary with none of your words in it. The long version, including what each of those exposes, is in the privacy policy. What the beta program itself collects (the waitlist, TestFlight, metrics files you send, interviews) is in the beta program privacy policy.
